Are Anti-Trump Protesters Actually Working for Trump?

People don’t realize how much things are planned out when cameras and microphones are going to be present, particularly when it comes to politics. Many times seemingly spontaneous occurrences have been planned. Whether it’s a supposed concerned citizen asking a question at a town hall meeting or violence breaking out at at protest, politicians, political parties, advocacy groups corporations and the government all engage in some level of manipulating events and public opinion. The latest news of anti-Trump protests turning violent reminds me of tactics used against activists and protesters by governments, or other powerful parties, throughout history to discredit their causes. The tactics involved inserting interlopers into protest gatherings to incite violence and thereby discredit the protesters’ cause in the eye of the public.

Are you saying Trump hired people to protest his own rally and then turn violent?

Although I wouldn’t put it past Donald Trump’s ego to resort to such tactics, I haven’t seen any evidence of that and I don’t believe that’s the case here. But I think it’s clear to anyone with half a brain that an anti-Trump protest turning violent and causing damage to government property isn’t exactly hurting Trump’s bid for either the Republican nomination or the presidency. If anything, this type of behavior is only helping solidify and expand Trump’s support base. It’s exactly the kind of animalistic behavior that many Trump supporters allocate to liberals and non-whites. It also legitimates Trump’s image of the embattled champion of the white guy under attack by out-of-control liberals that are “ruining this country.”

Anti-Trump Protesters Work for Trump Regardless

What the term “liberal” means and what liberals are doing to America are topics for another discussion. But it doesn’t matter if the anti-Trump protesters are hired liberals hired by George Soros, interlopers hired by Trump or are government agents sent in there to create havoc and discredit either the anti-Trump protesters or Trump himself. The end result is that anyone protesting Trump is just drawing more attention to the man, his presidential campaign and feeding his huge ego. It doesn’t matter if it’s protesters beating up Trump supporters in California or a woman in a hijab quietly standing up in protest at a Trump rally. Trump is not the president. Protesting him only helps to legitimize a presidential campaign that started out as a media stunt and an electoral side-show into a serious candidacy for the most powerful elected office on Earth. In other words, the people who protest against Trump are really working for the Trump campaign, whether they intend to or not.
