Thank you for visiting The Political News Report and taking a minute to get to know me. The last addition to an immigrant family from the Middle East, I was born and raised in the American South where I still reside and practice law today. I have worked in government, the corporate world and I’ve also been in business for myself.

Now back to the topic at hand.
Prior to applying to law school I also spent a couple of years working in broadcasting, so I’ve seen both media and government from the inside. I started The Political News Report because the big media outlets, aka the “mainstream media”, have become little more than propaganda outlets serving only to divide and spin.
The free press is enshrined in the First Amendment to the U.S. Constitution because the press serve a vital function for a free society. That function is to inform the public so they can make informed decisions. I believe that people are inherently good but are being fed bad information, and you can’t make good decisions when your information is bad.
So instead of sitting on the sidelines and whining about this state of affairs, I decided to create The Political News Report with the hopes of providing good information instead of more propaganda. To that end I will endeavor to present facts, not spin.
