9/11: Three Towers Brought Down by Two Planes In One Day
As we approach the nineteenth anniversary of the fateful day, the attacks of September 11, 2001 on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon are back in the news. This also marks the nineteenth year that the official narrative of what transpired goes mostly unchallenged. However, when viewed with a critical eye, the official explanation has many problems.
The First Known Instance
This post will highlight one simple, undisputed fact that is generally glossed over when 9/11 is discussed. That fact is that the official account of the events of September 11, 2001 tells us that not two, but three skyscrapers were brought down by only two high-jacked jet airliners that day.
Everyone has seen the horrific footage of the destruction of World Trade Center Towers 1 and 2. But how many people are cognizant of the fact that later that day World Trade Center Tower 7, a forty-seven story skyscraper, collapsed into its own footprint despite only being hit by debris?
Official NIST Video: Why the Building Fell
The official 9/11 Commission Report released in 2004 did not investigate the collapse of WTC 7. The collapse of this building was later addressed in a report by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) released in 2008. In that report, NIST states that, “[t]he collapse of WTC 7 represents the first known instance of the total collapse of a tall building primarily due to fires.”
The collapse of WTC 7 represents the first known instance of the total collapse of a tall building primarily due to fires. – NIST NCSTAR 1A, WTC Investigation, p. 47
Had the Bush Administration, with the consent of Congress, not created a whole new legal category of persons known as the “enemy combatant”, the attacks of 9/11 would have been investigated and prosecuted as a criminal case. Then the government would have been required to prove their case against those it accused of being responsible for 9/11 to a jury beyond a reasonable doubt.
WTC 7 was not hit by any planes, it was only hit by debris. And, as the NIST’s own archive footage shows, the damage from the debris was nothing like the damage suffered by Towers 1 and 2. Yet forty-seven stories collapsed into its own footprint in a matter of seconds like a controlled demolition.
The “Magic Fires” Theory
Oh, that’s right. Tower 7 didn’t come down because of damage from the debris itself. Officially, it came down because of the fires which were caused by the debris. Officially, that is something that has never happened before in history.
The government gave us the “magic bullet” theory in the JFK assassination. For 9/11, they gave us “magic fires”.
Is it just me, or is that reasonable doubt?
Never Forget
For almost two decades we have been told by our leaders to “never forget” the 9/11 attacks. I heartily agree. We should never forget that 9/11 was used as an excuse by the federal government to erode domestic civil liberties, nullify privacy and set the United States on a course of ever-expanding, never-ending undeclared wars.
These things could not have happened without such a shocking cataclysmic event as 9/11. The federal government’s zealous expansion of police and military power in the years following 9/11 provides ample cause to doubt the explanation offered by that very same government. That’s sufficient motive to lie and that’s why it’s important to never forget and to keep asking questions.
