Biden Underscores Need for Americans to Buy Their Own F-16
President Joe Biden mumbled his way through another public appearance recently.
Yes, that’s not really news at this point. However, he inadvertently made the case for why Americans need to buy their own F-16 fighter jets when attempting to mock owning an AR-15 by saying, “if you really wanna worry about the government, you need an F-16”.
For those who aren’t aware, the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution specifically states that the U.S. government cannot infringe on the right to bear arms. Biden’s comments were directed at the fact that this amendment to the U.S. Constitution was adopted out of concerns about federal government tyranny against the people.

This type of language by a sitting president not only raises concerns, but underscores why the Second Amendment was ever drafted in the first place. It also raises a question that may unfortunately be too late for Americans to consider. That question is whether the citizens of any nation should ever permit the government to possess weapons that the citizenry can not.
In the end, the long and short of the “gun debate” is this:
- The right to defend yourself is a fundamental, naturally existing human right.
- The Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution does not create that right. It is simply the reduction of that naturally existing right into the writing of the law of the land of the United States of America.
- Fundamental human rights cannot be legitimately eliminated by amending the U.S. Constitution or through the passage of any other laws by any governmental body, anywhere.
- Laws passed by any government that violate fundamental human rights, such as the right to defend oneself, are by definition illegitimate. Those who attempt to enforce such laws are criminals enforcing tyranny and oppression.
