(ANTIMEDIA) — A New Jersey corrections officer was arrested this week on child pornography charges after he posted a want ad on Craigslist referencing code terms for the illicit content.
Stephen Salamak, 37, was arrested at his home in Lodi, New Jersey, after police obtained a warrant due to his Craigslist post. The post said he was looking for women and moms who “are into Cheese Pizza,” a code term for child porn.
An undercover police officer made contact with Salamak through this post, and authorities then obtained a search warrant. As US News reported, “prosecutors say they found an email with five attachments showing nude images of young girls.”
Salamak reportedly admitted to possessing the content and has been charged with receiving images of child sexual abuse. He has been suspended with pay from his job at the East Jersey State Prison in Rahway.
His arrest is just one of many in recent months. Stings across the country have targeted pedophiles. Law enforcement agents have also been arrested for child porn and child sex abuse in a number of instances. The FBI itself operated a child porn site in the name of catching child predators.
