White House Press Corps Calls Out Hunter Scandal Messaging Change

In a sign that the people who really control the world have decided that Joe Biden may not be allowed a second term, members of the White House Press Corps called out a not-so-subtle change in messaging concerning the growing Hunter Biden scandal during the Wednesday press briefing by Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre.

President Biden and the White House have stated previously that the president has never spoken to his son, Hunter, about his overseas business dealings. At Tuesday’s press briefing, Jean-Pierre was asked if the president and the White House still stand behind that claim and in response she stated, “[t]he president was never in business with his son”.

If you noticed, this response does not address the question about whether Joe spoke to Hunter about Hunter’s business dealings. If you watch enough public officials and other public figures, you’ll notice that responding to a question without actually answering it is a common avoidance tactic they use. Members of the mainstream media, like the White House Press Corps, regularly let this kind of response slide and just move on.

However, this response was not just your run-of-the-mill non-answer. Rather, it was an attempt to avoid answering the question asked, as well as attempt to obfuscate what now appears to have been an outright lie and the Press Corps was seen pushing back. When pressed on the changed messaging, Press Secretary Jean-Pierre insisted that “nothing has changed” and refused to comment further.

But, the fact that the mainstream media are pushing back suggests that they’ve been green-lighted by their superiors to do so. If that’s the case, it could signify that some very powerful people have decided the time has come to start pushing the old man out the door.
